There’s no better eating beans when you serve up your own homemade BBQ Baked Beans right off the Barbecue grill. Watch one of the BBQ Pit Boys show you how easy it is to do. Just add 4-5 1lb. cans of your favorite pre-cooked beans, with 1/4lb. thick-cut bacon, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup molasses, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, 4 tablespoons prepared mustard, to a 3-4 quart black iron pan. Mix the ingredients as shown and then simmer in your covered grill for about an hour, or until the excess liquid renders off. Heinz white beans in tomato sauce from the can is the best…bacon,onion black crushed pepper and alot of butter in it…then cook for 7-8 minutes on high and then 3-4 minutes with the top on low.
serve in deep plate and add half teaspoon of white wine winegar in and white fresh baked bread with salty butter and cheese..MAN I WANT TO GO MAKE RIGHT NOW..but its late and i dont want to get a farting gas stomach..because i wont sleep all night-

with all that brown sugar, maple syrup and molasses, i think 1 ingredient is mising to balance it out…. insulin lol…. but it does look tasty

Don’t get me wrong, bacon is king..for me when i smoke some ribs i like to cut them St. Louis style and use the trimmed part of the rib i cook with the rest of ribs and add that meat to the beans, i think they call em burnt ends? and doc them up a bit and add a little bit of bourbon when cooking the onions and sip some too, but keep doing what you love, love your recipe don’t fix it, but nice to change things up some times
